Rockstar’s Private Jet Crashes in Arizona, Leaving One Dead and Several Injured

A private jet owned by Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil crashed at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday, colliding with a parked jet and killing one person while injuring four others. According to airport officials, the plane, arriving from Austin, Texas, veered off the runway due to an apparent landing gear failure, leading to the tragic collision.

Emergency responders from the Scottsdale Fire Department rushed to the scene, where they had to extricate one person trapped inside the wreckage. Two passengers onboard Neil’s plane were taken to the hospital with injuries. The exact conditions of the injured have not yet been disclosed, but officials confirmed that the runway was immediately shut down following the incident.

In a statement released after the crash, Neil’s spokesperson, Worrick Robinson, confirmed that the rockstar was not onboard at the time of the accident. The statement read, “At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at Scottsdale Airport. For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway, causing it to collide with another parked plane.”

The statement also added, “On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane. Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.” Reports from TMZ indicate that Neil’s girlfriend, Rain, and one of her friends were on the plane and were among those hospitalized following the crash.

Flight records reveal that the Gulfstream jet that was hit had been stationed at Scottsdale Airport since January 31. Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are now looking into the cause of the accident. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether mechanical failure, pilot error, or other factors contributed to the crash.

This incident is the latest in a series of deadly aviation accidents in the U.S. in recent days. On January 29, a commercial airliner collided with an Army helicopter near Washington, D.C., killing 67 people. Two days later, on January 31, a medical transport plane crashed in Philadelphia, claiming seven lives. The Scottsdale crash has once again raised concerns about aviation safety across the country.
