Sarah Ferguson has made her return to Instagram with a promotional post, marking her first social media activity since her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, was noticeably excluded from public birthday tributes by senior royals. Despite the Royal Family’s long-standing tradition of acknowledging milestone birthdays on official accounts, no public messages were shared for the Duke of York.

King Charles and Queen Camilla remained silent, as did the Prince and Princess of Wales. Even Andrew’s daughter, Princess Eugenie, and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, refrained from issuing public well-wishes.

This omission stands in contrast to previous acknowledgments of non-working royals, including Prince Harry’s 40th birthday tribute and Lady Louise Windsor’s milestone celebration in November 2024.

Prince Andrew has kept a low profile since stepping down from royal duties in 2019 following his widely criticized BBC Newsnight interview regarding his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

However, reports indicate that Andrew has secured a multimillion-pound deal with Dutch firm Startupbootcamp, utilizing contacts from his Pitch@Palace initiative.

Ferguson, who continues to reside with Andrew at Royal Lodge, made no reference to the Duke’s birthday in her latest Instagram post. Instead, she promoted a commercial app, signaling a potential shift toward brand partnerships.

While Ferguson’s decision to remain silent on Andrew’s birthday has sparked speculation, her return to social media suggests a renewed focus on personal ventures rather than royal matters.
