Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco, a popular 24-year-old TikTok star and model, was tragically killed in a targeted shooting outside a gym in Tijuana, Mexico. The rising influencer was shot multiple times while sitting in her black Mercedes Benz outside Hardcore Fitness Gym in the López Lucio neighborhood.

The attack occurred in broad daylight at approximately 8:35 am on Thursday, as the assailant fired several shots through the car window before fleeing the scene. Witnesses immediately contacted emergency services, but despite their quick response, Orozco was unable to be saved.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for the shooter, with the homicide unit’s prosecutor Miguel Ángel Gaxiola Rodríguez stating that the investigation indicates a lone suspect specifically targeted Orozco. The gunman escaped the scene in a Chevrolet HHR, and police suggest that more than one person may have been involved in the crime, reported The Sun.

At present, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Orozco, who had a growing following with over 200,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok, frequently collaborated with sportswear and aesthetic clothing brands, establishing herself as a popular figure in the influencer world. Her untimely death has left her fans and followers devastated.

She had been gaining attention for her trendy content, which focused on fitness and lifestyle before her life was tragically cut short. This shocking incident comes just months after another TikTok influencer, Vielka Pulido, was also killed in a brutal shooting outside a gym.

Pulido and her boyfriend, Joel Abraham Chavez, were shot in a drive-by attack in Puebla’s Santa Cruz Buenavista neighborhood. CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the assailant unleashed a hail of 26 bullets, killing both victims on the spot.

Authorities have indicated that Chavez may have been the primary target, with Vielka’s death described as “collateral.” The investigation into the attack is still ongoing, with the Attorney General’s Office in Puebla prioritizing the case and vowing to bring those responsible to justice.
