Jay-Z, who is currently facing a lawsuit with serious assault allegations, has once again denied the claims, stating that he is the victim in this situation. The 55-year-old rapper is accused of sexually assaulting a woman, identified as Jane Doe, when she was 13 years old, at an after-party following the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000.

The lawsuit, initially filed against Sean Diddy Combs in October, was amended on December 8 to include Jay-Z. Addressing the allegations, Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, issued a lengthy statement to DailyMail, categorically denying the accusations.

He expressed his heartbreak for his family, particularly his three children with his wife Beyoncé, and his concerns about what they will have to “endure” in the wake of the lawsuit. The rapper specifically mentioned his 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who he fears will face questions from her peers about the lawsuit.

“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” Jay-Z said. He added that it was a painful situation, especially for Blue Ivy, saying it was “yet another loss of innocence” for his children.

Jay-Z insisted that the lawsuit was part of a “blackmail attempt,” calling the claims malicious and aimed at destroying families and the human spirit. “It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and the human spirit,” he stated, emphasizing that “children should not have to endure such at their young age.”

Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Jay-Z remains steadfast in his denial, focusing on protecting his family and explaining the situation to his children, who will now have to face the public scrutiny.
