Prince William’s Meeting with Trump Reportedly Leaves Harry and Meghan ‘Nervous’ Over US Visa Issues
Prince William’s recent meeting with former US President Donald Trump has reportedly left his estranged brother, Prince Harry, and sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, “nervous” about the ongoing controversy surrounding Harry’s US visa status.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams discussed the implications of this encounter during an interview with GB News, suggesting that Harry and Meghan might be feeling uneasy following William’s interaction with Trump. Fitzwilliams remarked that Harry and Meghan would likely be “a little bit nervous” about the US visa situation after seeing the Prince of Wales meet with the former president at Notre Dame Cathedral.
However, Fitzwilliams downplayed the idea that Harry’s visa status was a topic of discussion during the meeting. “I very strongly doubt that Harry and Meghan are among the priorities of the president,” he stated, suggesting that their personal matters were not likely addressed.
The Prince of Wales and Trump held a 40-minute meeting at the British ambassador’s residence after their initial handshake at the reopening ceremony marking the five-year restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Kensington Palace later shared a photo of the two men together, with Prince William captioning it, “Pleasure to spend time with Donald Trump.”
The meeting took place as part of a larger gathering of world leaders at the cathedral’s reopening, with Prince William joining other dignitaries in honoring the historic landmark. Despite the significant political context, the focus on Harry and Meghan’s visa issue continues to stir speculation, with the couple reportedly anxious about the potential fallout.
