Royal author Valentine Low has made a shocking claim in his book Courtiers, accusing Prince Harry of enabling Meghan Markle’s behavior within the royal family. According to Low, it was Harry who created an environment where Meghan felt empowered to behave in the way she did, citing instances where he allegedly “put pressure on Kelly to bend the rules” and used “some fairly fruity language” during conversations.

In his book, Low writes that Prince Harry felt Meghan was not receiving the treatment she deserved within the royal family. “Harry felt that Meghan wasn’t being treated as she should,” Low revealed. He also claimed that Harry believed “everyone should show her great respect,” particularly when dealing with royal staff.

Low explained that when a servant was seen acting “difficult and obstructive,” Harry’s frustration with the situation grew, as it conflicted with his desire to protect Meghan. According to Low, Harry’s handling of these moments ultimately “set a bad tone for the marriage and relationship with the royal family,” which contributed to the growing tensions between the couple and the institution.

This insight into Harry’s mindset during that period of the couple’s royal tenure offers a glimpse into the challenges they faced behind the scenes and sheds light on Harry’s role in the dynamics of their time within the family.

Low’s allegations add further complexity to the ongoing narrative surrounding Meghan and Harry’s departure from royal duties, suggesting that Harry’s protective stance toward his wife may have influenced the couple’s strained relationships with other members of the royal family.
